Old Hickory

Named in honor of President Andrew Jackson, Old Hickory is bordered by the Cumberland river and Old Hickory Lake northeast of Nashville. Many of the original homes in Old Hickory were built to house workers for the large DuPont plant that continues to operate today. Now rife with restoration projects, Old Hickory is known for affordable housing and unbeatable access to recreational amenities.
